Padre Pio’s Spiritual Communion Prayer Jesus, truly present in the Most Blessed Sacrament, I love you above all things and I desire to possess You within my Soul. Since I am unable at this moment to receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as being already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.

Altar Server Corps

Students interested in joining the Altar Server Corps (who have received their First Communion and who have reached at least the 3rd grade) may sign up, be trained, and be added to the schedule at any time. Please contact Dave DiNuzzo by emailing [email protected].

Adoration As a Guardian of the Eucharist, it is your responsibil-ity to ensure that the Blessed Sacrament is not left alone. If you aren’t able to cover your hour, please find a replacement. Don’t forget to find someone to cover your hour during summer trips!

July 15, 2021

It is still unclear when we will be able to move back into the church as we contin-ue to work with insurance to gain approval for various pieces of the restoration. To date insurance has approved the following – we are still awaiting approval for all other aspects:

1. ServiceMaster remediation team for extensive cleanup throughout the church

2. Removal of the stained glass window in the library as it isn’t secure and could fall and be broken (this will occur on Monday).

As you may be aware, there will be a wedding Mass offered in the church on Sat-urday. The family was given permission to do so and has worked extensively themselves to minimally prepare the space to make this possible.

Given the fact that there are no restrooms and being mindful of any health con-cerns parishioners may have regarding air quality, the decision has been made to postpone moving the entire congregation back to the church at this time. We will continue to evaluate the situation, and know that we are striving to return to the church just as soon as possible. Please continue to keep our faith community in your prayers.

St. John the Baptist, pray for us!

Father Jarett
