Adoration du Très Saint Sacrement Le premier vendredi du mois, nous aurons l’adoration du Saint Sacrement dans la chapelle de jour entre 9h et 14h. Nous invitons tous nos paroissien(ne)s de venir passer du temps en prière vendredi le 3 janvier. Une feuille de présence sera en place, afin de nous assurer qu’il y aura toujours quelqu’un de présent avec Jésus.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament On the first Friday of the month, parishioners are invited to spend some quiet time in prayer before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Adoration will take place following morning mass in the day chapel, beginning at 9:00 am until 2:00 pm on January 3rd. A sign-up sheet will ensure that someone will always be in prayer before the Lord.

God is at the heart of all Christian families. Today we celebrate and recognize the Holy Family – Jesus, Mary and Joseph – as the model of all Christian families. Saint Joseph set a good example for all of us as his family faced the crisis of Herod’s plot to kill Jesus: He listened to God’s voice and cared for his family according to the word of God.

Mary, the Holy Mother of God We celebrate the place of Mary in God’s plan of salvation.

In her “yes,” she accepts the invitation to bring the world its Savior.

With the birth of Jesus, God enters into human history in a new and dynamic way. Mary’s role as mother is both essential and another example of how God has chosen and blessed the people who belong to him. With this Christ-filled blessing comes God’s peace and our adoption as sons and daughters of God.

Au début de la nouvelle année, nous échangeons des souhaits avec notre entourage. Le premier à le faire pour chacun et chacune de nous, c’est le Seigneur Dieu. Ses vœux sont des bénédictions et ils s’accomplissent par l’envoi de son Fils, né de Marie, l’Emmanuel, Dieu-avec-nous. Avec lui vient la paix tant désirée et l’avenir est prometteur.
