Today’s Gospel tells of Jesus taking Peter, James and John up a mountain where he was transfigured
before them. Similarly, Jesus invites each of us into a deep relationship of love with him so that he may change and transfigure our lives and hearts. Let’s
accept this invitation each day so we may lead more Christ-like lives of love and service.

SUNDAY SCHOOL will be held on two more Sundays during Lent: March 19 and April 2, beginning at 8:50 am in the Parish Centre. Focus is on prayer and what it means for us as Catholics. Children are encouraged to create a special prayer centre in their home for daily prayer. For more information on helping your child create that special place contact: Joanne Thorpe at jgmthorpe@gmail. ST. AGNES LENTEN SCRIPTURE STUDY GROUP continues on Monday, 1:30 pm in the Library. The series ‘Celebrating the Word’ by the Congregation of the Resurrection, Waterloo, is being used and focuses on the Sunday Readings. This study group is open to anyone interested. THE DIOCESAN CHOIR is seeking new members – the ability to read music and previous choral experience is an asset. The choir rehearses weekly on Monday evenings in Hamilton in preparation for major liturgies at the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King.
