Update on Sister Edna English, DW. Long-time pa-

Edna your regards, we will have her new address available

in the office at a later date.

"The Bilingual Choir will begin rehearsals for Holy

Week on Tuesday evening, March 3 at 7:30 PM. Rehears-

als will continue throughout March on Wednesday eve-

nings at the same time. Anyone interested in singing for

Holy Thursday, Good Friday, or the Easter Vigil should

attend these rehearsals. All ages are welcome."

ed! Albert Vargas, Grand Knight

The 2020 Bishop’s Annual Appeal funds more than 40

ministries in the areas of charity, evangelization and

worship. Jesus taught us to go out and spread the

Good News. The Bishop’s Annual Appeal funds all or

portions of programs and ministries that attempt to

evangelize across Eastern North Carolina. One hun-

dred years ago, there were fewer than 25,000 Catho-

lics in the entire state. Today we continue to grow

and number nearly 500,000 Catholics in Eastern

North Carolina alone. In addition to providing grants

to assist new missions forming in the more rural are-

as of the Diocese, funds are also crucial to the tens of

thousands in faith formation programs in each of our

Parishes as well as the 29 Diocesan schools and early

childhood centers attended by thousands of young

men and women. Bishop’s Annual Appeal funding

supports the NC Catholic magazine, which is mailed

to each registered Parishioner. It helps fund retreats

and Marriage classes as well. Overall, the Bishop’s

Annual Appeal will provide over $7 million in the up-

coming year to help those in physical and spiritual

need. You are invited to learn more through the Par-

ish or online at BAA.DioceseOfRaleigh.org. Thank

you for your participation.

Please bring your BAA donations to mass this week-

end and put it in the basket, for the 2nd collection.

We’ll send your envelopes in and you’ll save on the

postage. We have blank cards, if you have misplaced

your preprinted card. Thank you for your generosity.
