God is the friend of silence. We need to find God, and He cannot be found in noise and restlessness. See how nature, the trees, the flowers, the grasses grow in perfect silence...see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence. The more we receive in silent prayer, the more we can give in our active life. – St. Teresa of Calcutta

Music Ministry Do you feel inspired to use the gifts and talents that God has given you to help provide musical prayer for our worshipping community? Liturgy is the source and summit of our Catholic faith and music enhances the Liturgy with united musical prayer. If you or your child (grades 3-8) are interested in one of our musical ensembles or Children’s choir, please contact: Terrie Backes, Director of Liturgy and Music at the Parish Office. 714-970-2771 x114 [email protected] Make a Joyful Noise Unto the Lord!

By giving us, as he did, his Son, his only Word, he has in that one word said everything.

There is no need for further revelation…He has given everything, his own Son.

Therefore, anyone who wished to question God or to seek

some new vision or revelation from him would commit an

offense, for instead of focusing his eyes entirely on Christ he would be desiring something other than Christ, or beyond

him. God could answer: ‘This is my beloved Son in whom I

am well pleased; hear Him.” In my Word I have already said

everything.
