FALL ISSUE 2015 Master of Social Sciences in Nonprofit Management The Master of Social Sciences in Nonprofit Management curriculum is the first of its kind in Hong Kong to enhance nonprofit developments in the Asia-pacific and the world. It is designed to train leaders in civil society and particularly the nonprofit sector in Greater China and throughout the world. The pioneer class has 27 students from diverse background. Encouraging feedback has been received from students: Master of Social Sciences in Nonprofit Management Agency Visit to Urban Renewal Authority “We learn not only theories, but also the practical approaches arising from various experiences, to address the social problems nowadays.” “The interaction of classmates provides great insights for learning from best practices to understand different approaches in managing various organisations” Students are highly encouraged to participate in the activities organised by the ExCEL3 which forms a strategic partner that accelerates their growth as leaders-in-practice. Organisational Capacity Assessment Tool The ExCEL3 Organisational Capacity Assessment Tool (OCAT) is specifically designed for small to medium-sized NGOs in Hong Kong.
