The minimum level requirement of training for everyone in the Paint and Coatings Industry. It teaches the essential principles and practices of commercial/architectural paints and coatings.

and Level 2B - MCS and you will

become: MPI Training Accredited.

to apply to become an

“MPI Certified Architectural

Coatings Inspector” via the

Professional Education and

Knowledge Assessment (PEKA)

To qualify you will need to have:

10 years in paint industry

Tradesman Qualification

Min Grade 12 Education

Computer Skills

Supervisory skills Passing MPI Level 3 is a prerequisite to applying

for “Master Paint Quality Assurance” via PEKA

This final level of MPI Training is an advanced course based on the Inspection and Quality

aspects of the Paint and Coatings Industry.

This program also enables the successful student to identify

potential paint & coating defects & failures before they

become costly mistakes.
