Matcha is a type of Japanese green tea. A premium Japanese green tea milled into a fine powder. Traditionally and culturally appreciated in tea ceremonies across Japan. A vibrant green, creamy, aromatic, smooth and subtly sweet tea.

Our original select blend of 100% pure Japanese Matcha is smooth, creamy and full of antioxidants! A Naturally beautiful aroma and green colouring giving you the experience of the Japanese traditional tea ceremony.

We have our base manufacturer in Shizuoka, source our matchas and teas from across Japan. We specialise in matcha and green tea and so, return to Japan to attend the tea auctions 4 times a year to get the best quality tea!

HOUJI-CHA is roasted green tea, this is traditionally an after dinner tea. It uses the last autumn season’s leaves and stems and is high roasted at 180c to form a golden caramel like nutty aromatic tea. It is almost decaf.

Keeps skin healthy and clear

The Vitamin C in Houji-cha is responsible for helping keep skin healthy and clear. Vitamin C helps lighten dark areas of the skin caused from age spots and acne scars. Vitamin C also prevents wrinkles, and restores skin elasticity by stimulating collagen production.

Boosts weight loss

Houji-cha boosts weight loss, as its catechins help decrease body weight and body fat percentage. As a green tea, Houji-cha promotes fat oxidation by increasing energy expenditure. Finally, Houji-cha antioxidants help increase the body’s metabolism.
