Join the chat at tables • Postnatal Care from giving birth to leaving hospital • ‘Ask the midwife’ and learn about Midwifery Led Care • Share your experiences of maternity in Lancaster, Helme Chase and Furness General
Meet the team and local organisations at the stands and tables and get lots of local information • Being part of the Bay wide Maternity Service Liaison Committee • Healthwatch Cumbria • Healthwatch Lancashire • UHMBT Patient Relations • Better Care Together • What’s happening to improve care at Morecambe Bay Trust including plans for the new unit at Furness General
Visit the Children’s Play Area - a chance for the kids to try ‘Science from the Start’, draw and play
Have some refreshments throughout the day
We have a quiet area- if you want share your experiences or ask for advice and information 1-1
We will be videoing the event- if you want to talk on camera let us know!
We will be taking photographs to be used by UHMBT in publications and on the website. Tell us if you don’t want to be photographed. If you want to get involved in events like this again or in other workshops or groups organised by the Trust, make sure we have your contact details. If you have questions there are ‘welcomers’ all around the room – just ask. Please tell us what you thought about today – put your dot on the board and give us your comments
