Party Time

Cover All a game for 2 players

Need, 2 dice, counters

Each player chooses a Party Hat

to use for the game. Players take turns

to roll the 2 dice.

The player then adds, subtracts,

multiplies or divides the 2

numbers on the dice and covers

the number they have created.

For example, if a player throws 2

and 6, they could cover 8 (2+6),

4 (6-2), 12 (2x6) or 3 (6÷2).

Play continues until one player has covered

every number on their party hat. This player

is the winner.

Munch Subtraction Game a game for 2 players Need: counters to cover numbers

Help the monkeys to munch up the numbers. Players take turns to cover the

numbers to make a subtraction equation to fit the pattern in the center of the board,

e.g. on a turn a player could cover 12, 5 and 7 for 12 – 5 = 7. Once a number is

covered it remains covered. The last player who can cover an equation is the winner.

Sandcastle Subtract from 20

Game a game for 2-4 players

Need – Counters, 2 dice

Each player puts a counter on the Start. Players

take turns to roll 2 dice and add the numbers

together. The player then subtracts the total from 20

and moves to the next space that has this number.

For example: If a player rolls 5 and 6 which adds to

11, they would move to 9. The first player to reach

the sandcastle is the winner. The player must roll a

total of 9 or 10 to move to the sandcastle.

Play continues until one of the cupcakes is surrounded with a counter on each of the

One player uses the odd numbered Flip Flop Cards and the other uses the

even numbered Flip Flop Cards. Players take turns to place a card on the

board. Each card must cover 1 square and cards cannot be placed over

another card. Odd and even numbers are not allowed to touch each other

This means they cannot be placed side by side or one above or below the

other. The last player who can place a card is the winner.

HINT: Try to place your cards so that you block your opponent from placing the last card.
