Mathematics in Billboard

We are using a lot of math around us. When we come outside of home we see a number of billboard. There are many use of math in billboard.

So, Here some Examples of math in Billboard

First of all the size of billboard. There may be different size of the billboards. Mostly in Dhaka city the billboards are rectangular.

“Let’s see how many billboards we can count in one minute”. We will get a certain number of billboards after certain period of counting and without number math is unthinkable.

Notice the different items we find on this billboard. Compare the quantities. say,” how many more small letter are there than big letters”? That again comes to the number measurement.

There are some billboards which are used for showing the way of road.Here we can see use of vector , it is math

Those billboards are pretty high from the ground. We can measure height in feet .If we know the height in feet we can convert the height in another unit using math.

Summary. Before doing this presentation we do

not realize those uses of math in billboard .We can see those uses of rectangular, number, unit, measurement and vector in billboard. But in this fast growing life we do not realize those things.
