Michael wants some donuts. He is very cheap and wants to save even the smallest amount of money. He found a coupon for Dunkin Donuts. The coupon was for $1.00 off a dozen donuts. This week they are on sale for $3.50 a dozen but Michael cannot use the coupon. If Michael waits to use his coupon next week the donuts will be $.25 each. Is it cheaper for Michael to buy the donuts this week at that sale price or wait until next week and use his coupon?
