Explain that each Card has a word that they will be using in Math and a picture to show what the word means. Then, as you introduce each word on the wall, point out the Card, and review its meaning with students. If you choose to hang the Cards as you introduce each Math concept, hold up the Card, and point out the word on it. Read the word to students, and ask them to describe the picture. Relate the picture to the definition of the concept. (For example, for the Card on height, explain that a giraffe is very tall and that height is the measurement that shows how tall something is.)
