In addition and subtraction, no matter how the numbers are grouped, the answer will always be the same.

bill

A written statement of how much money is owed for items purchased or services provided

box-and-whisker plot

Inverse operation

The operation that reverses the effect of another operation

Example: you can use addition facts to do subtraction

Inverse variation

A relationship between two variables in which the product is a constant. When one variable increases the other decreases in proportion so that the product is unchanged.
