RESEARCH HIGHLIGHTS (40%)

1. Over 108 academic publications (refereed journal articles, books, book chapters, case studies

in books, book reviews, encyclopedia entries, training manuals, conference papers and

presentations, reports).

2. Published/accepted 20 articles in refereed journals and have an additional 5 articles

currently under review.

3. Of the 20 articles, 5 of them as single author and 8 as lead author.

4. Published 18 books, working on finalizing 1 book.

5. Delivered 24 double blinded peer reviewed conference presentations, wrote 4 book

chapters, 4 case study and 3 encyclopedia entries, 23 student training manuals and 11

industry reports.

6. Secured competitive grants, contracts and scholarships totaling an amount of $229,500.

TEACHING HIGHLIGHTS (50%)

1. Have 18 years of University level teaching experience in the USA and South Africa.

2. Outstanding teaching evaluations from student’s face-to-face, mixed mode and fully online

(average above 4.5 or higher on a 1-5 scale).

3. Developed and taught 33 undergraduate and graduate level courses.

4. Require intensive writing assignments in all classes.

5. Experience in utilizing multiple teaching modes: face-to-face, mixed mode and fully online.
