• MathsGenius Leadership Institute (MGLI) is an African quantitative-based leadership school.

• There is a leadership crisis in Africa which is the primary cause of perpetual poverty for the majority of Africans. Ranking high is the acute shortage of African-based leadership schools that give Africans an opportunity to come up with home grown solutions.

• MGLI was formed in 2013 to play a pivotal role in upgrading Africa’s ability to analyse economic and social issues correctly by identifying, nurturing, training and supporting talented and driven youth between 16 and 30 years who are keen on solving problems and becoming leaders in their communities, country and beyond.

MathsGenius has identified a huge youth quantitative leadership gap in Africa due to the lack of:


• Availability of quality, African-based, quantitative problem-solving, decision-making and leadership training

• Access to funds by Africa’s young movers and shakers
