Reflect on these questions as you read this scripture and hear the message for this week:
1Think of a time when you have made the wrong decision. What happened? Was there anything you could have done different? In a situation like that, do you believe it is ever too late to do the right thing? Why or Why not?
2) There were many generations of kings who had led the people of Israel and Judah in the wrong way. Upon discovering the book of the law, Josiah wants to lead the people in the right way. In our faith journey, how can we know the right way from the wrong way?
3) What practical steps can you take this week to help you do what it right in the sight of the Lord?
Pray
Merciful God, we confess that we have not been faithful to you and that we have sinned against you. We have turned against you and broken our covenant with you. But despite our unfaithfulness, you have continued to love us and remained faithful to us. Forgive us of our sin and strengthen us in our resolve to walk in your way and do what it right in your eyes. We love you, Lord. Amen.
