Matthew 24:1-35

24.1 And leaving ,Jesus came out from the temple and His disciples approached to point out to Him the structure of the temple2 But He replied [He] said to them ;Do you not see all of this? ,Truly/Verily/It is so, I say to/tell you, there will not be left a stone upon a stone here .that will not be cast down.3 And as He was sitting upon the Mount of Olives the disciples approached Him by themselvessaying-

,Tell us when these [things] shall be and what [is] the sign of Your appearance.and the coming together/completion of the age.4 And Jesus repliedsaying to them- Keep watch lest anyone deceive you/cause you to wander-5 for many shall come in My name saying:,I am the Christ,.and many shall be deceived/wander away.6 But you shall begin to hear of wars and rumours of wars., See to it, you are not alarmed- ,for it must take place, .but it shall not be the end.7 For nation shall rise up against nation

,and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines and seismic upheavals of places-8 .but all these are the beginning of birth pains.9 Then you will be subjected to persecution/tribulation ,and they will kill you, and you shall be hated by all nations.for the sake of My name.10 And then many shall be scandalized/caused to stumble/fall awayand shall betray one anotherand shall hate one another.11 And many false prophets shall appear/ariseand [they] shall deceive many/make many wander astray-12 and through the increase of lawlessness .shall the love of many be made cold.13 .But the one enduring/who endures to the end shall be delivered/saved,

14 And this one shall preach the good news/gospel of the kingdom in the whole world ,as a witness/martyr/testimony to all the nations, .and then the end shall come.15 Therefore when you see the abomination of devastation, that of which the prophet Daniel spoke, ,standing in the holy place, ,the one reading, [better/best] understand,16 ,Then those in Judea [better/best] flee to the mountains/run for the hills,17 those on the rooftops[better/best] not come down ,to take/carry away anything from his home,18 And the one in the field [better/best] not turn back .to take/carry away his garment.19 But woe to those with occupied wombs

.and those nursing in that particular day.20

But be praying that your flight does not happen in the winternor on the Sabbath-21 for then there shall be great affliction/tribulation/persecutionsuch as has not been from/since the beginning of the world until now.nor shall ever be.22 ,

And if those days werent shortened, then no flesh would be saved/delivered/spared. But because of the elect .those days shall be shortened.23 If then anyone should tell you-,Here is the Christ,

or-,Here [He is],do not believe [them/it].24 For false Christs shall arise/appear,and false prophets,and they shall produce/display great signsand wondersso as to lead astray,if possible,even the elect-25 .Behold, I forewarn you,26 thus if they tell you-,Behold, He is in the desert,do not go out [there].,Behold, He is in the inner room,

do not believe [it].27

For just as the lightning goes out from the east ,and flashes as far as the west, so shall be the coming/appearance of the Son of Man.28 ,For wherever the corpse may be, .in that place the vultures shall gather/come together.29 But immediately after the tribulation/affliction/persecution of those days,the sun shall darken,,

and the moon shall not display/produce its radiance/light,,and the stars1 shall fall2 from the sky/heaven,3 .and the powers of the heavens shall tremble/shake/quake/shutter.30 ,And then the sign of the Son of Man shall appear/become visible in the heavens, and then every tribe on earth shall beat its breast/mourn/lament,

and shall see the Son of Mancoming on the clouds of heaven with great power and glory-31 And He shall send out His angels ,with a loud blast of the horn/shofar, and His elect shall gather together from the four winds .from the heights of heaven as far as their heights.32 But learn from the parable of the fig tree- by the time his/its branch becomes tender ,and the leaves sprout forth,

you shall know that the summer is near-33 ,And thus you, ,when[ever] you see all these things,

.you shall know that the entrance/threshold is near.

34 Truly/Verily/It shall be, I tell you

that this generation shall not pass away .until all of these things take place.35 ,Even the heaven and the earth shall pass away, .but My words shall not pass away.Translation of Matthew 24:1-35
