II Save the Children UK.,Education program.2006 – 2010 : Education Field Officer

• Manage a team of ten staff implementing education program. Main task is to plan for the team in line with operational plan. Additionally, support line ministries involved in education programmes in line with Government’s own plan.

• Work with partnering non governmental organizations in planning and executing some component of the program such as Star Radio and LETCOM for outreach and advocacy respectively’

III Save the Children UK 2004 - 2006 Education Project Officer

• Started along with another colleague the establishment of an Education Program for Save the Children to respond to former over aged combatants educational needs through implementation of the Accelerated Learning Program(ALP)

• Set up the first monitoring and evaluation instrument for the program. All templates for the program were designed by me for the smooth operation of the program during the reintegration period. The system has now grown supporting many schools in three counties where SC UK intervention in education is currently ongoing.

IV Save the Children UK 1999 -2001 Food Security Information Officer

• Collect information on food security situation in parts of the country and present to the larger Food Security Forum as Save the children served as secretary to the forum during the emergencies.

V Ministry of Planning and Economics Affairs 1994 - 1999 Research Officer (Population Policy Coordination Unit)

As a research officer for advocacy and IEC, I collect information on population programs and prepare IEC and advocacy materials along with other

population implementers. Additionally, the job requires training population officers in counties under a UNFPA sponsored project.
