A WALK BACK IN TIMEPut on your walking shoes for a leisurely stroll through the historical and cultural heritage of more than two-and-a-half-century old capital city, Port Louis. From the landing place of indentured Indian immigrants in Mauritius, the UNESCO-listed Aapravasi Ghat to the Central Market for a taste of our street food and a visit of Chinatown, past and present intertwine with history unfolding at every corner.

CRAFT EXPERIENCEThis insightful tour is a hand-picked mix of sightseeing and local craft-making. After witnessing first-hand the art of glass-blowing, you will be awestruck by the intricate details required in assembling scale models of historic ships. You will also have the chance to visit a soap factory and a carpet-weaving workshop before lunch. In the afternoon, you will take a trip to the sacred Hindu lake of Grand Bassin and discover the many charms and attractions of the colourful villages of the South-West.

ROOTSExplore the famous wildlife sanctuary of Ile aux Aigrettes and spot the rare pink pigeon and giant Aldabra Tortoises.
