Hi, my name is Gretchen Brown, and I will be the new self-contained teacher at BVE. I have been in the field of education for over twenty years. I have earned both a bachelor's and master's de-gree in education, and I am currently pursuing my specialist's degree. Additionally, I am dual certified in general education and special educa-tion and have taught both throughout my ca-reer. I am looking forward to being part of the BVE team.

My name is Amy Hengen, and I am thrilled to be joining the first grade team at BVE! I grew up on the Coast and received my Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. I am currently finishing my Master’s Degree in Dyslexia Therapy at William Carey University. I have been teaching first grade for 13 1/2 years, and I ab-solutely love it! I am looking forward to an amazing year!

My name is Amy Rudolph, and I am one of the newest members of the Special Educa-tion Department at BVE. I graduated from William Carey College, where I received a Master's Degree in Special Education. I am certified to teach Mild to Moderate Disabili-ties grades K-12 and have an endorsement in General Education grades 4-12. This will be my 16th year teaching. I have a passion for helping children progress in all areas of their development- academic and social-emotional. I am ex-tremely excited to be part of this school family.

My name is Shelby Davis, and I grew up in Columbus, Mississippi. I graduated from Mississippi State University in 2017 earning my degree in humane science and child development. This is my third year of teaching, and I am looking for-ward to joining the kindergarten team at Bayou View Elementary in August.

Hi, my name is Anna Levine. I am so excited to

join the BVE family and the first grade team. I

am originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma,

where I graduated from Oklahoma State Univer-

sity earning a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary

Education. This next school year will be my sev-

enth year of teaching. In my free time, I love to

run and spend time outdoors. Teaching is my

passion. I look forward to meeting all of you!

Hello, I am Mrs. Amy Seay. This year will be my 20th year of teach-ing. I have taught fourth grade for 18 years, and I taught third grade for one year. I have also taught as a night school adjunct instructor on the college level for four years. I have a Master’s Degree in the Art of Teaching, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, and a Associates’ Degree in Travel and Tourism. I look for-ward to joining Gulfport School Dis-trict.

My name is Mandy Scroubelos. I have been teaching for two years. I have a bachelor’s de-gree from Mississippi State and my master’s degree from Wil-liam Carey. I am so excited to be continuing our family tradi-tion of teaching in the Gulfport School District and of being a part of the Bayou View family. My grandmother is a former assistant at BVE, and her chil-dren are former students. I live in Biloxi with my husband and three girls.
