EUCHARISTIC ADORATION It is our goal at Holy Family to have at least two adorers present at each hour on the adoration schedule, so that every adorer can have a partner for scheduling back-up and safety during nighttime hours. Study of the eight Church Modes, the functions of the various types of chant, the traditional square notation of the Middle Ages and the 2000-year history of chant are all undertaken. Open to all! P …. Deacon Andrew Zipp will be ordained a priest for our archdiocese on May 25th at the Cathedral of Saint Paul. Deacon Zipp was assigned to our parish last summer as part of his pastoral preparation in this last stage of seminary formation. He will join us for the Solemnity of Pentecost at 9 AM on June 9th for a Mass of Thanksgiving followed by a reception in his honor. Deacon Scott Foley will be ordained a priest of the Diocese of Davenport (Iowa) on June 1st. Deacon Foley spent a January term with us at Holy Family in 2013 during his pre-theology program at the Saint Paul Seminary. He was then sent to the Pontifical North American College in Rome where he is now completing his studies. He will return to Holy Family for the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity on June 16th for an 9 AM Mass of Thanksgiving followed by a reception in his honor.
