Our Mission

• The JOBS Act requires:

– The SEC to make the rules around CrowdFund Investing

– The industry to be overseen by FINRA or an independent Self-Regulating Organization (SRO)

• CFIRA is here to:

– Represent our interests as an industry to the SEC

• Provide unified comments as a coalition of crowdfunding platforms, experts, investors and small businesses

– Work with FINRA to either

• Come up with a broker/dealer ‘light’ version, or

• Develop the Industry’s own SRO

• CFIRA is comprised of the original leaders of the CF Investing movement

– The initial framers and lobbyists for the CrowdFund Investing legislation – Jason Best & Sherwood Neiss
