God is fair, even when life is not.
Sometimes good people can make us
uncomfortable.
A good God can make us uncomfortable, too.
Love: 1 John 4:8
The cross of Christ demonstrates God’s love to us.
His holiness and love belong together.
They bring to our lives goodness and restoration.

in our hearts?

Welcome Team Change We have decided to do away with our welcome table entirely and replace it with a team of Sunday morning greeters who will gather early for prayer and be prepared to welcome people as they assemble for worship. This team will be particularly sensitive to greeting and engaging visitors to our service and to answer any questions they may have and after the service introduce them to others. If you would be willing to be a member of the Welcome Team please speak to Bob Bahr. CBWC Assembly
The Gathering 2019 May 23-25 High River, AB
Axel Schoeber, Jane Sidjak, Don Hill and Liz Burnett will represent WVBC at the Assembly from Thursday May 23 to Saturday May 25. Axel will be away from the office from Tuesday May 21 to Saturday May 25.
Charitable Receipts There have been some issues recently regarding the usage of the brown even envelopes that are found in the pews. These are for you to use if you wish to donate and don’t have your white numbered envelope with you. It is very important to put your regular envelope number on the envelope. If you don’t have a regular white numbered envelope please request some through the office using the brown envelope. To receive a charitable tax receipt you must put your full name, address and phone number on the brown envelope. If you don’t then your donation is handled as loose funds with no receipt. If you don’t temporarily remember your number please put your full name on the brown envelope. We try very hard to be accurate in recording the information from the envelopes. Please print clearly; also don’t only put on your first name as there may be someone else in the congregation with that name and we won’t know who is who.
