The Future of CreativityWorld-renowned futurists, philosophers, and artists tackle the big questions: What will creative
work look like, and sound like, in twenty, fifty, and one-hundred years from now? How will art be made and how will it be consumed? What will be the tools for creative expression in the future?
Keynote: Dr. Martine Rothblatt Keynote: Jaron Lanier

historical fiction, psychedelic hip hop, fantasy, and magic realism in order to critique not only the present-day
dilemmas of the other, but also to revise, interrogate, and re-examine the historical events of the past.
Art & Artificial IntelligenceWhat does it mean if computers could be taught to hear, write, improvise, and play music? And can they do it in a
compelling way?

Radio & the RadiophonicIt has been almost one hundred years since the first
wireless broadcasts for entertainment, and radio seems livelier than ever: from AM, to FM, to satellite, to internet
streaming, this sound medium knows no bounds. So, what is radio today? And how has this technology
sustained so much experimentation and reinvention?
TechnoshamanismWho are the seers today, and how are they integrating technology into new “shamanic” practices in art and
science? How do we understand rituals of trance in the context of electronic music? How can ancient traditions
and cutting-edge brain research inform our pursuit of ecstasy?
