OUTSTANDING SCHOOL FEES All outstanding fees must be paid as soon as

possible. These fees include last year’s school/summer school fees, lunch, and/or lost or damaged school and library book fees. Please contact the LES office with questions or to pay any outstanding fees.

New Book Fair Chair(s) Needed for Next Year

Would you like to get more involved with the Book Fair? PALS is currently looking for a new chair/co-chairs as the current co-chairs will be heading up the Book Fair one last time this Spring. It would be a great opportunity to

shadow them this Spring to learn more about it. If you are interested in chairing this committee, please email us at [email protected].

Dear Parents/Guardians, The Character in the Community Target Time Group is taking on its final endeavor of the school year. Our mission for the last leg is to collect pop tabs to donate to the Ronald McDonald House (RMDH) in Milwaukee. This wonderful organization provides a home away from home for families with a child who is staying at Children’s Hospital. The RMDH offers many wonderful amenities for families, to help them maintain as much normalcy and solace as possible. These include a game room, computer room, study room, Secret Garden, laundry room, fitness center, playground, art and music therapy, church, and free meals. Pop tab donations are one of RMDH’s funding sources and on May 19th, also known as “Pop Tab Day,” the value of pop tabs will be tripled! That’s right, rather than earning approximately 33 cents per pound, each pound of pop tabs collected on this day is worth $1.00! Last year, nearly $37,000 worth of pop tabs were collected (!!!), so we want to do our part and help them exceed that amount this year. All you need to do is ask your family members, friends, and neighbors to share their own collection of pop tabs and then bring them, along with yours, to school. Students can place them in the blue and yellow wooden bin in the hallway across from the office. We ask that all donations be collected by the end of the day on Monday, May 14th. Thank you, yet again, for your support! Best, Character in the Community Target Time Group

Please pack an extra set of clothes in your child’s backpack. When a child spills milk at lunch or finds a puddle at recess, he/she will be able to change into their own clothes and comfortably return to class. We have a very limited supply of items to loan, and when we run out, we will need to phone a parent to get dry clothing.

STOP IN AND LOOK THROUGH OUR LOST & FOUND! ALL ITEMS WILL BE DONATED TO CHARITY VERY SOON!

April Menu May MenuClick on the link above to see the menu. Lincoln and TJMS will have the same hot lunch menu this year. When looking at the menu, the underlined items will be the only main entree served at Lincoln on those particular days.

Hello student musicians, directors and families!

This summer, the Port Washington-Saukville Music Department is hosting The Young Americans on

Tuesday, June 12th-Saturday June 16th at the Port Washington High School and we want YOU to join

us!

This camp is open to students grade 3-College and is a high-energy, comprehensive performing arts

summer camp. The camp week includes instruction, classes, and workshops in voice, dance, comedy

improvisation, songwriting, performance techniques, sound, and lighting. Participants are divided into

three age groups to learn age-specific material. By learning a show in just 5 days, students are able to

learn teamwork, discover their individual potential, and walk away with a huge sense of accomplishment

at the end of the week, all in an encouraging and positive atmosphere that The Young Americans foster

and provide.

As part of the camp, there will be TWO performances at the conclusion.

Saturday, June 16th at 3:00 PM & 6:30 PM

All you need to do is go to the Young Americans website to

sign up!

Don’t miss out on the most exciting and educational performing arts summer camp in the country! What can you look forward to? Each Young Americans Summer Camp brings an incredible combination of energy, teamwork, and confidence, using music as the tool. The college-aged cast of specially-trained performers/ teachers provides a safe and exciting atmosphere for campers to learn, create, and grow! This comprehensive performing arts camp includes everything from vocal and dance to full stage performance.

After five days of intensive performance instruction, it’s show time! This show is jam-packed with choral, musical theatre, rock n’ roll, and more! The Young Americans cast of 40 performs the first act as a "Thank You" to the community and campers. In the second act, campers take the stage to perform the 1-hour show they have learned over the past 5 days.
