Christmas Molasses

CookiesIngredients:1 c. sugar3/4 c. shortening1 egg1/4 c. molasses1 t. vanillaCombine above ingredients and mix well.Add:2 c. flour1 t. cinnamon1 t. ginger1 t. soda1 t. salt

Mix and chill for several hours or overnight. Shape into walnut size ballsand roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degreesfor 8-10 minutes. Makes approximately 3 dozen.

Dip half of cookie in white chocolate for a special look.
