Beloved Readers,

Let us stay connected…

Summer brings with it a ton of fun, brighter & longer days and time for vacation

& outdoor activities. Sunny skies and rising temperatures do more than making our

environment warmer. Increased availability of sunlight to synthesize vitamin D and

seasonal fruits enriched with vitamin C help prevent chronic diseases.

Hearty congratulations to all the Chancellor's summer research fellowship

awardees. Such programs serve to provide student fellowship and faculty support for

mentored research experience. It is an opportunity for the undergraduate students to

develop technical & critical thinking skills fostering an interest in science & kindling

career goals.

Your Corner portrays the majestic and endangered animal species which play a

pivotal role in the health and diversity of an ecosystem. Wildlife conservation helps to

protect them along with their natural habitat and mitigates the negative effects of

human activity. We have a responsibility to maintain biodiversity so that the future

generations of both wildlife and humans can enjoy it.

Sheela Ravinder. S. Editor-in-Chief
