Every year, Key Clubs from around the Pacific Northwest gather to celebrate a successful year of service, and our Mukilteo School District clubs were a part of that. Over 300 clubs took part in leadership training and service opportunies and our students had the chance to aend workshops, receive officer training and vote on the upcoming years District Execuve Board. During the weekend, they were encouraged to share their spirit in an environment of service-oriented individuals. We are so proud of our young Key Clubbers. They have worked relessly throughout the past year and it has been a pleasure to watch them develop and grow, see them expand their leadership skills and become young men and women that truly represent the spirit of young leaders in Mukilteo. Andrew and Dennis have lead the Mariner and Kamiak clubs with grace and strong guidance and now this upcoming year, we will have the opportunity to work with Haley serving as a liaison between their club(s) and ours. Thanks to Sco, Diane (who is replacing Jennifer), Dana and Rachel for helping to mentor our Key Clubbers. ..in April, 2017 This is why our Kiwanis Club of Mukilteo supports Key Club at the level that we do. In April we were able to send a record number of Mariner High School and Kamiak High School students to DCON, in Portland. And they did not disappoint! Dennis from Mariner HS won a membership award for doubling their school membership within the club. Awesome! We are so proud of these young #leaders. Thanks Scott, Diane, Jennifer and Rachel for taking time out of your busy schedules to mentor these students.
