CNC Machining Technician

reliability. Responsibilities: Accountable for safety, quality, cost, and production goals

while running the line. Start-up and operation of CNC equipment, automation equipment

and gaging equipment. Review gage traces, analyze and make needed offsets in ma-

chines. Change inserts, drills, and endmills. Conduct PM's on tool work-holding, change

when needed. Perform model changes. Conduct initial troubleshooting of production is-

sues and repair if capable. Maintain uninterrupted product flow through the line. Take

direction from and collaborate with leadership to mitigate downtime. Actively participate

in GEMBA walks (whiteboards). Actively engage and participate in 5S and Kaizen events

and help identify improvement opportunities. Direct hourly employees working within the

area. Perform machine coordinator and gage operator duties as needed.
