Victoria - A Food Lover's Paradise
R
estaurant
With more restaurants per capita than almost anywhere else in North America,
Victoria is a foodie's dream
come true. The BC Restaurants and Food Services Association is the voice of the industry, and the Victoria Chapter works tirelessly to help its members - like those listed on this guide - give guests like you memorable
experiences, every time you dine.
Victoria has some truly stunning restaurants, with equally
stunning locations and views where you'll find some of the most talented, creative chefs on the Island.
Dinner, complete with fantastic BC wines, can be a once-in-a-lifetime experience with personalized attention from staff who genuinely want you to be immersed in the moment.
Memorable, great experiences don't need to be complicated, fancy nights out, though...
Enjoying take-out fish and chips down in the inner harbour, watching seals and seagulls begging for leftovers is a classic Victoria summertime experience.
A simple meal, made with fresh ingredients and served with a smile is something that many of us look forward to after a long day at work. Let your mind relax, and let someone else take care of dinner!
Being the cosmopolitan city that it is, Victoria has authentic ethnic cuisine from just about every region on earth. Be adventurous, and make this your summer to try something you've never tried before.
Or consider doing a 'foodie tour', taking your summertime visitors on a trip around the regions to explore the sights, sounds, tastes and smells of the South Island's exciting restaurant scene.
The BCRFA - Victoria Chapter is here to be the voice of the industry, and ultimately, it's about helping the industry grow and continually do a better job of serving you, our customers.
On behalf of all the member restaurants and food service providers, we'd like to say 'thank you' to Victoria for building, retaining, and sustaining such a vibrant industry.
