whole Church… Strengthen the priest and you strengthen the

whole foundation, you strengthen everything in the Church.” St. Michael’s Parish would like to create a group of women to pray specifically for Father Andy Michels as outlined in the Seven Sisters Apostolate. One person from our parish is asked to take one day each week to pray one holy hour. Each person is asked to commit to one year going from June to June. Therefore, we will need at least 7 people and a list of substitutes. Please go online to sevensistersapostolate.org for more information and to see if you would be moved to make this commitment. Please call JoAnn Green at 249-3418 or Peggy Zimmer at 249-3285 for further information or to sign up.

Thank you to all who have given to the Diocesan Ministries Appeal. So far, $11,183.56 has been received. Of this, we will be getting $2,795.89 back for church projects.

St. Michael’s School News Students and teachers are busy getting ready for the end of the school year. With only two weeks left, we are wrapping up lessons and finishing projects. It is hard to believe that summer vacation is almost here, but I know the students are excited. This past Wednesday, our students had the spring concert, entitled Americana, An Evening of American Music, the students performed five band selections, and six choir selections, including an number they students wrote themselves. Our kindergarten, first and second graders were able to go on their end of the year field trip this past Thursday. First, they attended Mass, then headed to Mankato to the Southern Minnesota Children’s Museum. Fun was had by all! The fifth and sixth graders also went on their field trip on Friday; the older grades were able to visit Harkin Store, Fort Ridgely, German Park and Vogel Field House. It sounds like they also had a great time.
