SPECIAL MASS FOR EXPECTANT FAMILIES The Respect Life Committee is sponsoring a Special Mass for Expectant Families on Sunday, May 27th at the 11:45 am Mass. The St. Fidelis Parish Community would like to extend support and prayers for all those families awaiting the birth of a child, about to adopt a child or bringing a foster child into their home. Each mother will receive a blessing at the Mass and keepsake to remain with her while awaiting the arrival of the child. MOTHERS’ DAY TRADITION The St. Fidelis Respect Life Committee will be selling pink and white carnations after the Masses on Mothers’ Day Weekend (May 12th & 13th). The tradition is to wear a pink carnation and give a pink one to your living mother. A white carnation is worn if your mother is deceased and a white carnation bouquet can be placed on a deceased mother’s grave. Carnations cost $1 each / $5 for 6 / $10 for 12.

TRADICIÓN DEL DÍA DE LAS MADRES El Comité de Respeto a la Vida de St. Fidelis venderá claveles rosados y blancos después del fin de semana de las Misas en el Día de la Madre (12 y 13 de mayo). La tradición es usar un clavel rosado y dar un color de rosa a su madre viva. Un clavel blanco se usa si su madre es fallecida y un ramo de clavel blanco se coloca en la tumba de una madre fallecida. Los claveles cuestan $ 1 cada uno / $ 5 por 6 / $ 10 por 12.
