A message from Fr. Bill… As Advent comes to an end and Christmas is only a day away, we await the incarnation of Christ with longing hearts. The people of Israel waited centuries for a Messiah who had been foretold by the prophets. They expected a powerful Messiah who would wield a sword and bring na- tions under his rule. Instead, He came as a helpless baby born to peasant parents in a lowly manger. As we receive the Christ Child into our hearts, let us be thankful for the many blessings we have received, not least of which is a God who strengthens us in times of trial, and a God who laughs with us when we are happy. As I celebrate Mass this Christmas, my intention will be for God’s blessing upon each and every member of our parish. And in thankfulness for each of you who make this parish welcoming and sacred. May God Bless You Abundantly this Christmas and Always
