MESSAGE FROM THE COMMITTEES
Over the years devotees have generously dedicated their time and resources to the temple. It is only
because of their efforts we are now seeing HARI as a very attractive and inviting place. We are trying
to walk in their foot prints to make the institution a better place for all religious, educational and
cultural needs.
We are delighted with the success of the temple activities this year. During March and April,- in April
alone we observed 16 events- we had many pujas and major celebrations including Shiva Abhisekam,
Maha Shivaratri, Holi Dahan, Holi & Dhuleti, Balaji Abhisekam, Mata ki Chowki, Gudi Padwa,
Ramanavami, Hanuman Jayanti and Mahavir Jayanti. Each event was well attended.
We are planning, with support of sponsors, for four Kathas or Religious discourses in the coming
months by renowned gurus and scholars. Please look out for these events in email communications
and at HARI website. With two scholarly priests, the temple doors have been open for more hours and
priest services made available for your home, seven days a week for all your religious needs.
This year, the Executive Committee has undertaken the task of publishing the “HARI Directory”. We
request you to verify/update your addresses and contact information. We also request you to send your
individual and/or business advertisement or sponsorships to Mr. Harish Patel.
If you have any suggestion for improvements of our institution, please contact any of the EC or BOT
members or email us at [email protected].
Yours in Service,
Mr. Rajeev Pangarkar Mr. Virendra Trivedi

SHRIMAD BHAGAVAD GITA SERIES Monday, May 23rd through Friday, May 27th, 2011
Discourse by Pujyashree Bhupendrabhai Pandya
More than anything else today, our society desperately needs leaders to guide us
along the path towards success and glory. Pujyashree Bhupendrabhai Pandya,
who has often been described as a „cyber saint, an adult who understands the
youth, a preacher who does not preach but shares, a confidant, a leader who holds
many hands to lead them towards the brilliance of knowledge, a Guru who truly
brings out the best in all lives that he touches…..‟ fits the bill perfectly.
He enlightens people all over the world with his easily comprehensible
presentation of ancient scriptures. With his pious inspiration and guidance, many
souls have experienced the effulgence of true knowledge. He possesses the rare
ability to rationally interpret eternal principles, while focusing on the applied aspect of religion. He does
not stop at mere explanation, but suggests as to how these time-tested principles can be incorporated in
our daily routine in order to experience a richer and wholesome life. Bhaishri‟s mastery of languages
such as Gujarati, English, Hindi, Marathi and Sanskrut, his scientific educational background, and his
ability to explain the reasoning behind traditions make him exceptionally popular with the youth. He is
able to bridge the distance between heritage and the contemporary. He is a master orator but more than
anything else, he is a true leader and in bringing out the relevance of age-honored wisdom, the true need
of the hour. He has the ability to recognize problems, the intellect to solve them, and the courage to put
those solutions in practice. He has contributed effectively to the qualitative transformation of mankind.
HARI cordially invite all like-minded devotees for an oration
of the time-tested principles of the Bhagavad Gita. It is that
time of the year again when Harrisburg is drenched in the
showers of spirituality. With Bhaishri‟s immense affection for
us, he has agreed to grace the occasion and shed light on the
third and fourth chapters. This is an ongoing series of
discourses on the Bhagavad Gita, which have been held each
year, whereby each verse in each chapter will be discussed in
detail.
HARI Executive Committee whole-heartedly thanks the sponsors of the program.
Schedule: (Monday, May 23rd to Friday, May 27th)
