DIRECTORS CORNER, DIRECTORY

Thank you for your patience during the Great Room construction to replace the ceiling. Repairs are now complete and the room is back in action. We continue to be busy with our SilverSneakers program and recently added SilverSneakers classic on Tuesday and Thursdays at noon to accommodate the need. Thanks to the senior services levy fund, we recently purchased a new standing Octane elliptical and a second seated Octane elliptical.

Believe it or not, we are starting to plan our trips for 2020. If you are an avid traveler or would like to share your input on our destinations for 2020, please sign up to be on the trip planning committee. Our first meeting is May 10 at 10am and our second, and final meeting is June 24 at 10am. The fee for our special lunches will go up to $8 starting in May. We did a cost analysis of the kitchen program 2 years ago and it was determined we need to charge $8 to cover the cost for these special lunches. A $2 increase from $6 to $8 was a lot, so the board decided to temporarily offset the increase by contributing $1. Its now been 2 years and the board is no longer offsetting the cost. Please keep in mind we do have a scholarship program if you need financial assistance for special luncheons or other programs we offer.
