P aying tribute to our
mothers gets a lot of at-
tention around Mother’s Day. The
host of a recent radio program dis-
cussing mothers said that Mother’s
Day is truly every day of our exis-
tence given the fact that our mother
gave us life. This statement is cer-
tainly true. There is no way to com-
pletely thank our physical mother
for giving us the gift of life, but now
think of our Divine Mother, who
not only gives us life through our physical mother but she gives us “real
existence” as she ascends through our spinal cord. It is she to whom we
owe enlightenment, divine joy, truth, peace and happiness in the whole
sense of the word. It is she who conducts us all through the path to our
own Real Being becoming one with him, through unlimited love. We should
meditate every day of our life on her. As a matter of fact, we should start
every daily practice venerating her presence in our inner realm, and praying
to her so we can be conducted to our true inner Self.
May - Month of the Divine Mother
We invite all institutions to devote one specific day a week for the exclusive practice of meditation. All missionaries and instructors are very dedicated and enthusiastic about public and internal confer-ences, after all, we prepare them very diligently, at times with great effort and sacrifice, but let's admit it, we all love to give Gnostic lec-tures. It is a topic we truly love and are very passionate about, and all of this is wonderful. Lectures are a great vehicle in communicat-ing to the public and delivering the message didactically to students to enhance comprehension, and we should continue to do it. However, V.M. Samael Aun Weor insisted on many occasions that
each Gnostic institute should have a special meditation room dedi-cated solely for the purpose of meditation. Not all institutions have this luxury, as space is limited, however any practice or conference room can become a meditation area on specific days. Meditation is certainly the food of

the wise. We all should drink the wine of meditation from the cup of perfect concentration. Deep medi-tation allows us to approach our superlative consciousness and see things from another angle, in the light of consciousness. Through meditation we can receive informa-tion, discover something we did not know about ourselves and among other things develop a spontaneous sense of self-observation. Meditation practices are a must in
all groups since they will help us
deeply to know ourselves. Medita-
tion practices may be combined
with vocalization for the purpose
of awakening the inner senses to
aid our internal progress.
V.M. Samael Aun Weor gave us the three factors for the revolution of the consciousness as a tool to awaken internally. These factors synthesize all that is needed for self-realization. Master Samael certainly saved us from reading vol-umes of books and from years of study and struggle trying to understanding many different esoteric authors. No doubt he is the master of the synthesis and we praise him for that. Master Samael also gave us many meditation and vocaliza-tion practices as extraordinary instruments for inner development. We are going to refer to the vocalization practice of the seven vowels. I- E- O- U- A- M- S are the vowels that make our chakras spin, awakening the subtle perception faculties of our astral body.
During the waking state our brain operates with the sensorial and the interme-diate minds, which are fed by our external perception senses for the former, and by all intellectual information and all kinds of beliefs for the latter. All of this is just fine for our daily living and function; however when we are lying in bed asleep we function with our astral vehicle and all that we perceive, see, and hear in that world is with the astral inner senses .
It is important that all students improve the quality and recollection of their dreams. In the astral plane extraordinary forces try to give us important informa-tion to overcome all obstacles and conflicts in order to awaken our conscious-ness. If we want truly colored dreams, let us vocalize the “I" or one of its vari-ables. If we want to clearly hear all sounds of the dream world let us vocalize the "E" intensively. If we want to apprehend or capture the subtle dream messages, then let us vocalize the vowel "O" daily. If we yearn to communicate telepathi-cally while dreaming or while awake, then vocalize the vowel “U". If we want to recall our dreams or even our past lives, then we have to vocalize the vowel "A" to activate the lung chakras. The vowel "M" makes the whole vertebral column vibrate stimulating all the chakras and the vowel "S" raises the sexual energy up the spinal cord feeding the chakras with subtle energy as water feeds flowers in a garden.
Vocalization is so effective and powerful that Master Samael has indicated that vocalizing for one hour every day is better than reading one thousand esoteric books.

The purpose of the newsletter among other things is to unite us all, in spite of our differences and huge distances, into an homogenous group moving in the same direction, towards the REVOLUTION OF CONCIOUSNESS. We are pleased that it is fulfilling its objectives.
We encourage all instructors and missionaries to become regular collaborators to this periodical by sending us original short articles or poems on topics related to Gnosis. Share with us any wonderful experience, insight, perspectives or benefits you have received as a result of these marvelous teachings. For example if you have had the joy of meeting with V.M. Articles submitted must be original and less than 250 words. A committee will review articles for appropriate content and relevance. If article is approved for publication it will be edited if necessary and published only if and when space permits.
We believe in the richness of diversity, and would like to receive articles from all across the United States and from different cultural backgrounds to help further enrich our newsletter.
