Mark your Calendar: Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday June 11, 2019 at 7:00 pm with dinner beginning at 6:00 pm at the Village Clubhouses. Flower Day
The members who placed their flower orders by 4-10-19 this year, flower day is set for May 21, 22, 23, and 24, 2019 from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm at the office. Members will also be notified by the instant alert program and can also go to the village website to look up the dates. Also, you will be receiving a mulch and dirt order form in early May so please check your house mailbox on a regular basis for this information. Reminder dirt and mulch delivery is at Village discretion. If dirt or mulch is too high in bed it will not be delivered unless member removes old.
Office Closed
The Village Staff and Board of Directors would like everyone to have a safe and fun Memorial Holiday. The office will be closed May 27, 2019 to spend Memorial Day with family and friends. During this Holiday, if you have a maintenance Emergency please call (517) 202-7820.
Lawn Care
Reminder to all members that mowing days will again be on Monday and Tuesday. On mowing days, keep the lawn area completely clear of everything, including grills. Picnic furniture is to be kept up tight to the unit on the days the lawn will be mowed. Also, if you have children please keep them away from the mowers for their own safety.
Three Cheers for Mom
We would like to wish a Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms here at Village on the 12th. Your job as a mother is very important, not always without challenges but is very appreciated.
Community Yard Sale
If you are interested in participating with the yard sale this year, the dates are June 6th, 7th, and 8th, 2019. If the weather is bad on these days the rain dates are June 13th, 14th, and 15th, 2019.
Memorial Day… Let’s Not Forget
May 27th is Memorial Day (observed) and we hope you take the time to see a parade, attend a memorial, or in some other way pay tribute to the men and women who have died in service to our country.

Maintaining Flower Beds
The staff would like to remind the members to keep their flower beds neat and clean. Keeping the flower beds weed free helps the whole property look good. Please refer to your handbook should you have any questions as to your responsibility in the upkeep of your flower bed(s). Management will begin exterior inspections after Memorial Day.
Air Conditioning Reminder
Have you checked your air conditioner to see if it is operating properly? If is a good idea to test your system before the weather gets too hot. If your air conditioner doesn’t seem to be cooling properly, call a licensed contractor for service.
Watch for Minors
School will be out soon, and the minors will be out playing! Please be extra careful when driving through the cooperative during the summer months. You never know when a child will dart out into the road or parking lot while they are playing. Thanks for driving safely throughout our community.
Get to Know Your Neighbor
Now that everyone is getting outside more, make an effort to get to know those who live around you. Authorities say that having neighbors who can keep an eye on your townhouse while you are away is often your best protection against burglary. Making friends just helps create a sense of community and belonging too. So next time you see your neighbor say “Hi” and take a minute to get to know each other better. You’ll be glad you did.
