RIVERLIFE BIBLE READING PLAN

We are into Week 7! Download weekly reading schedule at www.riverlife.org.sg/brp.

The mark of a growing disciple is the discipline to self-feed. During this unprecedented time, the Lord is redirecting His people to pause and rediscover Him and His ways afresh. This is the heart behind our Bible Reading Plan - that we, as a church will delight the Father when we are growing in our love for Him and allowing His Spirit to move us in obeying His Word in our lives.

The more we know God and obey His Word, our faith will be unshakeable regardless of the situation around us.

The Bible Reading Plan comprises a daily passage with reflection questions to guide you in meditation. You can also journal what God’s Spirit is prompting you to do in applying the Word.

Join us to read through the books of Nehemiah and 1 Peter and the various themes that these books address.

A SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM THE BARTLEY FAMILY OF CHURCHES

REOPENING OF RIVERLIFE KINDERGARTEN

As a church family, let’s cover our Kindergarten in prayer as it reopens this week. Praise God that all our teachers cleared the COVID-19 swab test and none tested positive!

School will be reopening in 3 phases:

• 2 Jun – K1 and K2 • 8 Jun – Pre-Nursery and Nursery • 10 Jun – Playgroup

Let’s pray for the following points:

Staff: Pray for good health and strong team spirit among the Kindergarten staff team

Principal: Pray for Godly wisdom to address parents’ concerns and for the Holy Spirit’s guidance in solving operational issues.

Children: Pray for smooth transition returning to school and protection over their immunity systems.

Parents: Pray for God to replace fear and anxiety for peace and assurance as they send their children back to school. Pray for understanding and cooperative parents who will partner the school to school a safe and enjoyable place to be in.

Environment: Pray for God’s presence and peace to fill the environment as we move into this new norm. Pray for favour during site visits by ECDA to observe safe distancing measures put in place.
