• Over 1500 years ago, a great empire thrived in the heart of the jungles of central America. It was here that history witnessed some of the greatest accomplishments of all time and the start of the Americas.

• Still today the ruins of the great pyramids that the Mayans created can be found in the deep jungles of central America.

• Mayan architecture ranges in size from small terraces no higher than two meters than giant 120 ft temples

• The Mayans will go down in history for one of the greatest accomplishments for the breathtaking temples they created

some of the most innovative and advanced technology and concepts that would shape their culture and help them leave their mark in history.

• One of the greatest Mayan technology accomplishments was the Mayan calendar which was quite advanced for an ancient civilization

• The Mayans noticed the patterns of the solar system and developed a system so advanced they could predict upcoming events such as when the sun rises and sets, and when there would be an eclipse.
