The Annual Blue Licks reenactment was held at Blue Licks State Resort Park in Robertson County.
Fleming- Mason Energy has chosen Joni Hazelrigg as the chief executive offi-cer. Hazelrigg is a 29 year employee of the company and is replacing former CEO Chris Perry who resigned in July to take a position as CEO of the United Utility Supply Cooperative.
Green Tokai Co. LTD. announced that 24 new jobs will be added to the Mason
County workforce, and the company will invest $4.4 million into the project.
Maysville Community & Technical College will be holding several work ready workshops beginning on September 3rd. Each workshop will be held by an industry or human resource leader, with a different subject covered each time.
Mason County High School will be offering a new program open to juniors and seniors, Sponsored by Maysville- Ma-son Co. Area Chamber of Commerce. The programs is called: “Work Ethic Seal Pro-gram.” The programs allows juniors and seniors to receive a letter of recommenda-tion at the end of the school year that can be used for college applications and po-tential employers.
Maysville Rotary Club is planning their 35th Annual Charity Horseshow. The Show will start at 5:30 pm on Sept 6th at the Germantown Fairgrounds.
Feed Hunger Games raised more than $4,000 for local Food banks for our Area. WFTM was the winning team, the duo of Ben Smith, and Travis Skaggs competed against 25 other competitors during Mays-ville’s first annual Mudfest.
