Mazars in Africa has also grown exponentially over the last few
years, with Mazars being named the 5th largest audit and
advisory firm in Africa in the 2017 IAB rankings.
Mazars currently has offices in 27 African countries providing
high quality audit, tax, advisory and legal services to public and
private clients across a variety of sectors and industries. Mazars
can also meet its customers’ needs all over the African continent
through correspondence agreements, joint-ventures and several
representative offices.
With more than 2700 professionals employed across the
continent, Mazars’ presence in Africa is made up of independent,
yet integrated practices that are large enough to service
international listed clients on a global basis, yet small enough to
help small companies grow and prosper in their own
environments.

range of clients including, audits of regulatory bodies and large

Mazars is also an industry-leader in the banking and financial
services sector across Africa. The firm is currently the auditor of
Central Banks in 18 African countries, and the auditor of three
out of the ten main African banks. Mazars is investing heavily
in this sector and intends to create an African hub for
banking in South Africa in the near future for both audit
and advisory services.

At Mazars, we believe in equality in the workplace and
transformation through true empowerment. All our offices has a
fully representative Employment Equity Forum (EE FORUM)
elected by our staff. All transformation initiatives are coordinated
through this forum. Mazars is committed to transformation and
being a responsible citizen.
In 2017, Mazars established the Mazars Youth Employment
initiative aimed to address the socio-economic issue of
unemployment and a lack of skills in South Africa. Through our
commitment to the future of our country by empowering the
youth, we identify willing youth from designated groups and
provide them with an extensive two month job-readiness training
programme with professional accredited training partners and
job placement support services.
Mazars also believes in empowering of women in the workplace.
