Course Planning for 2017‐18! The Guidance Counselors are in the process of meeting with all students to

need your review and signature. Please return this form asap as delays in returning it can cause delays in the
development of your son or daughter’s schedule for next year.

11th Annual Volleyball Marathon:
On Friday, April 21st, the WDHS Key Club's 11th Annual Volleyball Marathon
will be held at RiverWinds Community Center from 6 PM to 10 PM. There will be
volleyball as well as free food and prizes. All participants will receive a t‐shirt
too! You do not need to be an athlete to play; you just have to want to have a
good time for a great cause. Staff members and students are encouraged to
form teams. There will be trophies for the winning teams as well as prizes for the
best team name, best dressed, and most generous teams.
There is a $20 per player minimum donation required to participate. This
minimum donation and team registration are due by Friday, March 31st. Last year the Volleyball Marathon
raised $2,300 for Cathedral Kitchen in Camden, and we want to exceed that goal this year. Pick up a team
registration packet from Mrs. Yeager in room 13 today.
All participants are required to raise funds to play, so we are seeking food and beverage donations which will be served to the students and staff participating in our charity event – pizza, food trays, cases of water, individual snacks, and fruit are always a big hit. Monetary donations also are gratefully accepted. We also are seeking donations of gift cards, gift baskets, and incentive prizes for the highest fundraisers. If you choose to endorse our project, your business name will be prominently displayed on the back of the t‐shirts that will be distributed to all participants. We greatly appreciate any donation you can make. Make checks payable to “West Deptford High School.” Contact Mrs. Yeager if you can make a donation.
