Dear MCM friend “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God” Matt.5:9. When monitoring the newspapers and the social media, court cases, children murdering their parents and shooting on the Cape flats, are the highlights of our daily news. More than ever has the above scripture been true and needed for today. OUR IMPACT Monte Christo Miqlat is perfectly placed by God to be used as a vehicle to carry His Peace through our Val- ley by firstly focussing on the restoration of our families. When our families are healthy and cared for, the community is a safe and peaceful place to enjoy our daily living. Through our Community Care Centres, we conduct various programmes for the fathers, mothers, school dropout kids and the boys and girls in the family. A strong emphasis is been put on education for the youth, espe- cially numeracy and literacy. When listening to all the feedback and acknowledging the blessings, the Black Tie Dinner & Auction, as fundraiser for our educa- tional programmes in our Community Care Centres, were the first in many to come. This event also served as a marketing tool in taking hands with new partners to support our programmes. Winter is on our doorstep and our Drakenstein Food Centre is ready to serve our community with nutritious meals. Please place your order and contribute towards our children’s feeding. Sports & Recreation managed to invest through various ways in our children eg. Soccer, Vlakkie cricket, paintball, the BMX track, our gymnasium, the playground and the Character build and SHAPE teachings. These are “fun” opportunities for our children where they learn to be a responsible citizen. Through our Bowy Programme, we are daily building a cushion of support around our vulnerable families with the help of the Hos- pice TAC team (team around the child) and give them Hope through our presence and assistance. We serve the Homeless in central Paarl on the bank of the river and in Paarl South, in Louw’s Avenue. Dear MCM friend

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God” Matt.5:9.

When monitoring the newspapers and the social media, court cases, children murdering their parents and shooting on the Cape flats, are the highlights of our daily news. More than ever has the above scripture been true and needed for today.

OUR IMPACT Monte Christo Miqlat is perfectly placed by God to be used as a vehicle to carry His Peace through our Val-ley by firstly focussing on the restoration of our families. When our families are healthy and cared for, the community is a safe and peaceful place to enjoy our daily living. Through our Community Care Centres, we conduct various programmes for the fathers, mothers, school dropout kids and the boys and girls in the family. A strong emphasis is been put on education for the youth, espe-cially numeracy and literacy. When listening to all the feedback and acknowledging the blessings, the Black Tie Dinner & Auction, as fundraiser for our educa-tional programmes in our Community Care Centres, were the first in many to come.
