SIMULATION AND ANALYSIS LABORATORY Branch: Mechanical engineering SEMESTER: VII
Objective: To have an hands-on experience with softwares like ANSYS and C/MAT LAB. To simulate the real time problems by using these softwares and also to understand the application of analysis packages.
LIST OF EXPERIMENTSSession duration : 150 Minutes
All the students do the same exercise in every session. Exercises shall be done as per the order below.
(A) ANSYS EXERCISES1. Stress analysis of a plate with a circular hole.2. Stress analysis of rectangular L bracket3. Stress analysis of an axi-symmetric component4. (B) SIMULATION EXERCISES1. Simulation of Air conditioning system with condenser temperature and
evaporator temperatures as input to get COP using C /MAT Lab.2. Simulation of Hydraulic / Pneumatic cylinder using C / MAT Lab.3. Simulation of cam and follower mechanism using C / MAT Lab.
