The SI System of Measurement
The International System of Units (abbreviated SI) is the modern form of the metric system and is the world's most widely used system of measurement, used in both everyday commerce and science.
Units of Measurement
length = meters (m)
mass = kilograms (kg)
liquid volume = liters (L)
solid volume = cubic centimeters (cm3)
temperature = Kelvin (K)
time = seconds (s)
Reporting Measurements
Report what is known with certainty
Add ONE digit of uncertainty (estimation)
