Environmental, Health, and Safety Goals
• Compared to the baseline year of 2008 (2009 for energy, greenhouse
gas emissions, and hazardous waste goals).
– Reduce our recordable incident rate by 67% by 2013;
– Reduce our lost time incident rate by 67% by 2013;
– Reduce energy use by 25% over a 10 year period;
– Reduce GHG emissions by 25% over a 10 year period;
– Reduce non-hazardous waste by 15% by 2013;
– Reduce hazardous waste generation by 3% YOY; and
– Recycle all ten waste (paper, aluminum, cardboard, wood, plastic, glass, oil,
batteries, electronics) streams by 2013
