How to Measure for the Classic Roman Shade
A. Measure the Width of the window from the edge of the trim. Be sure that there is at least ½ inch available on the face of the trim for the magnetic strip
B. Measure the height of the window, from the top of the trim down to the top of the window sill and then add three inches to this measurement. If your window does not have a sill, measure to the bottom of the lower trim. The Classic Roman shade will come mounted to a 1.5” board, with hardware attached. It will sit approximately 1” above the top of your window trim. There will be a “lip” on the bottom of your shade. This is to ensure that the shade fits snug to the bottom of the window trim
C. The Classic Roman shade will come with a weight bar at the bottom. To know how long to make this bar, you must measure “C” the width of the window between the trim.
D. The Classic Roman shade will have multiple cords pulling up the curtain from the window side. In order to determine the proper placement of your cords, please provide the width of the window trim.
