Introduction:
Here are some questions from the text book that I think are relevant to what we are learning in
class. As with the previous course, we will not provide full solution (w/ suitable explanations) to
every one of these questions. You are encouraged to start and contribute to a repository of
solution to help each-other out; as such I have created a new folder on Piazza for this, we will
also chime in to give you some feedback.
Please note: this does not imply that if you can ace these questions, you will ace the final exam.
The purpose of this list is to provide more practice to those who need it. I would encourage
everyone to contribute to the repository not just a few of you for several obvious reasons. For
one, it’s not fair to simply reap the reward of others without contributing. More importantly, you
will not learn the concepts behind the questions if you don’t go through them yourself.
As always, you are welcome to come talk to myself or the TAs to help you out if you are stuck.
Please do try not to come all at the last minute before the exam.
Note all Chapter and Question numbers are in reference to the 9th edition of the book. 3
copies of the 9th edition is on course reserve in the library.
