We would like to invite you to attend our seminar on Mechanical - Biological Treatment (MBT), which will provide you with an in-depth understanding of an alternative method of managing solid waste. MBT facilities combine sorting equipment with biological treatment. The mechanical element includes an automatic separation system to sort out recyclable materials such as metal, paper and plastic from the mixed waste. The biological element removes moisture from the waste and increases the recovery rates as well as the quality of the recycla- bles. A maximum recovery of clean solid recovered fuel with high calorific value can be achieved from this treatment and will minimize the waste being disposed of at the landfill. As a participant you will be introduced to MBT processes and applica- tion examples, you will learn about the critical areas on the selection of appropriate waste treatment technologies as well as the adoption of MBT to local situations. In addition to that, you will get an insight into the quality supervision of MBT output fraction, process control and emission control. This seminar is open to all government policy makers (federal and local), waste facility operators, waste collectors, waste management consultants, academicians, students or researchers, NGOs on sustainable environment, etc. Join us on November 27, 2019 at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara Wau Bulan 2 Room MECHANICAL-BIOLOGICAL TREATMENT SEMINAR 2019 www.rieckermann.com Rieckermann (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd | B2-9-01 & B2-9-02 Block B2 | Meritus@Oasis Corporate Park | 47301 Petaling Jaya Selangor | Phone: +603 7660 9239 | Fax: +603 7660 9237 | Email: [email protected] In Cooperation with: Sponsored by: Speaker:

We would like to invite you to attend our seminar on Mechanical -

Biological Treatment (MBT), which will provide you with an in-depth

understanding of an alternative method of managing solid waste. MBT

facilities combine sorting equipment with biological treatment. The

mechanical element includes an automatic separation system to sort

out recyclable materials such as metal, paper and plastic from the

mixed waste. The biological element removes moisture from the waste

and increases the recovery rates as well as the quality of the recycla-

bles. A maximum recovery of clean solid recovered fuel with high

calorific value can be achieved from this treatment and will minimize

the waste being disposed of at the landfill.

As a participant you will be introduced to MBT processes and applica-

tion examples, you will learn about the critical areas on the selection

of appropriate waste treatment technologies as well as the adoption of

MBT to local situations. In addition to that, you will get an insight into

the quality supervision of MBT output fraction, process control and

emission control.

This seminar is open to all government policy makers (federal and

local), waste facility operators, waste collectors, waste management

consultants, academicians, students or researchers, NGOs on

sustainable environment, etc.
